Making A Norma and Belly Comic. Part 1: Ideas

The first video in a series about how I make a comic.

How do I come up with an idea for a Norma and Belly comic?

I start with anything that happened to me today, the first thing that pops into my head and go from there. In this five-minute video, I’ll show you how I work in my sketchbook to form a comic idea from something in my life.

And that’s how I come up with an idea for a comic. Here’s a quick recap.

• Write or draw something from today.

• Show your character relating to the thing.

• Choose your favorite one.
